Billy's at the Hilton

            The client owned a Hilton Hotel in Baltimore, and was also a partner in the Jaragua Hotel and Casino in Santa Domingo. The project was an addition to the hotel but was treated as freestanding facility.
            The concept was basically the same as September in Ft. Lauderdale, whose owner was the other partner in the Jaragua Hotel…….Three island bars on three different levels……..backs of the bars two steps higher than the fronts, so all could see the entertainment……..VIP area…….house band…….old brick & old utility poles.
            Structurally, a huge heavy timber truss spanned the center of the room, on a 45 degree angle, and carried the rest of the timber roof structure.
