Bryntesen Engineers Office
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
2007
This building was originally designed in 1977 as Montego Bay. It was sold at the height of its popularity and the new owners failed. Subsequently several assorted businesses, all hospitality oriented, failed with vacant periods in between.
In 2007, 35 years after its birth, it opened again, beautifully restored and repurposed as a structural engineers office. I had nothing to do with its resurrection, but I heartily applaud the sensitive and careful process that brought it back to life.
