Martha's

Key West, Florida

1978

The client owned a bowling alley across from the ocean in Key West, Florida. The project was to remodel an existing small restaurant into an upscale restaurant/lounge with its own identity. A section of the dining was raised three steps to overlook the band stand and dance floor, and a geometric design on the floor was done with multi-directional Oak flooring and three different carpet colors.
An outside, trellis covered dining deck was added, increasing capacity to 160 seats. The front of the building was remodeled, giving it a more three dimensional look, and giving Martha's its own identity.
