The Slope
Winter Park, Colorado
1980
The client owned a small "A" frame restaurant at the bottom a ski slope. He also lived in Ft. Lauderdale and several of our earlier entertainment clubs influenced his decision to add one to his existing restaurant building.
The design continued the existing "A" frame roof, doubling the building size, but with shed roof extensions and a two story glass gable end looking at the slope. A smaller roof reflecting the main roof was an added new entrance.
Inside there are several level changes and a balcony loft placing most customers in sight of the band and dance floor.
