Williams House
Lutz, Florida
1972
The clients were a young couple with three children. The property was in an Orange grove on the shore of a Cypress tree lined lake. They liked the curvilinear shapes and angles of several previous projects.
The structure was mostly wood frame clad with shingles, and a few important vertical elements that were block and stucco. A playroom for the children would sit on a tiny island close to shore, and be connected to the house with a covered screened porch forming a bridge. A second floor master bedroom overlooked the living room and entry.
