Big Daddy's Pier

Daytona Beach, Florida

1971

Following the immediate success of the original Big Daddy's Brother Jim's in Ft. Lauderdale, which was intended as a prototype, a great site for a second location was identified in Daytona Beach.
The site was on the beach boardwalk, where all the action was. This had become the new destination for college spring break after they had worn out their welcome in Ft. Lauderdale.
The design was the same basic idea as the prototype but larger, with two additional levels of bar area, and a two level concrete parking structure.
