Egan House #1

            This was the first of what would become two projects for this client on two different properties. It was designed for a two acre site that the client did not own, but intended to buy if he liked the design.
            The house was 20,000 sq. ft. of intense design with extensive exterior and landscape features. The materials were brick painted white, white stucco and a grey slate roof. Interiors were elaborate and were planned for five full time household employees.
            The client embraced the design enthusiastically, but encountered insurmountable problems with the property. It was decided to demolish his existing house and start the design for Egan House #2.
