Faulkner Bachelor House

            The client, a bachelor, owned a lot on the curving corner of a canal. He wanted a small and affordable house, but he also wanted a unique and artistic house.
            The structure consisted of two story high concrete block walls, exposed inside and out, with 3" laminated wood decking spanning between the walls. The second floor bedroom was actually a balcony overlooking the living and dining areas, and also a roof deck beyond. A spiral stairway was at the inside corner of the "L" shaped space.
            It still remains a favorite unbuilt project.
