Stanley House

Ft.Lauderdale, Florida

1965

            A small family waterfront house with a single level flat roof, post and beam construction and a raised wood frame floor. The raised floor level extends to the exterior as floating wood decks outside of every room. The plan is organized around an entry garden and privacy is ensured by a high concrete block wall across the street front. Peggy Stanley still happily lives there to this day.
